Hayfield has been a popular destination for walkers since before the now famous Kinder Mass Trespass event in 1932. It was not uncommon for thousands to descend on our small village by train from Manchester.

The village still welcomes walkers and our aim is to be not only a beautiful location with fantastic walking opportunities, but also offering well-maintained footpaths, quality facilities and services, and a very warm welcome.
