A Sunday 7.5 hour strenuous walk from Hayfield to Kinder’s Trig Points. 15.5 miles / 27km Ascent 4220’/1286m.

The walk starts along the footpath to Hayfield campsite and from there ascends steeply to Kinder Low End via Tunstead Clough Farm. The first trig point (633m) is reached from Kinder Low End. The route then crosses the plateau to its highest point (636m) before reaching Crowden. The walk along the southern edge, that looks down on the Vale of Edale, leads eventually to the second trig point (590m). The third trig point (624m) is arrived at after a long walk along the northern edge. The walk will end by following the steep Sandy Heys path to the foot of William Clough and the reservoir footpath back to Bowden Bridge and Hayfield.
